CHARLOTTE ROSE MANNING is a NY-based filmmaker, born and raised in LA’s San Fernando Valley.
Charlotte has proudly worked for Academy Award winning director Michael Moore, mega-producer Scott Rudin, and theatre agent Leah Hamos at The Gersh Agency.
During her two years working at Scott Rudin Productions, Charlotte was quickly promoted from intern to assistant. She oversaw (or “participated in”?) the development of films such as Fences (2016), Lady Bird (2017), Annihilation (2018), Mid 90’s (2018), and more. In the commercial space, Charlotte has directed and shot promotional shorts for the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA), Michael M Collection, and The Malibu Life (a luxury real estate company founded by Madison Hildebrand of Bravo’s Million Dollar Listings).
Charlotte earned her BFA at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, majoring in Film and Television Production. While in school, her short film CAROUSEL received accolades at NYU’s New Visions and Voices Festival for Ensemble Cast. She also spent a summer abroad in Paris, studying Art History and feasting on fresh baguettes. Charlotte strives to empower women by telling their stories. As a former actor, her direction focuses on guiding cast to embody behavioral truths.
