Charlotte Rose is an LA-born actress, writer, and director A graduate of NYU Tisch School of the Arts, she began her career assisting Scott Rudin on projects including Lady Bird, Annihilation, Mid90s, and Broadway’s The Crucible and Hello, Dolly!. She has since worked with Celia Costas (Tick, Tick… Boom!), Nzingha Stewart (From Scratch), Matt Byrne (Queen Charlotte), Michael Moore, and Adam Sandler. Trained in the Strasberg Technique from a young age, Manning has performed on stages in New York and Los Angeles, and her short films Sheltered and After School have screened at international festivals including Catalina, Beverly Hills, Berlin Independent, and the Academy Award–qualifying Bengaluru International Short Film Festival.

Charlotte’s acting journey began in grade school at the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute, where she built a foundation in method acting that continues to shape her work today. Most recently, she starred as the lead in the LA premiere of Karina Wiedman’s The Anarchist, directed by Antonia and Francesca Pollak. She also appeared in Amy Tofte’s The Rest of Us at HB Studio’s Playwrights Theatre in Manhattan
